Photography Permissions:

If you’d like aerial shots, be sure to check with OPRD and ensure you’re operating within park guidelines. So if your vision involves drone usage, you can easily go to Cannon Beach about 10 minutes away to get those shots rather than using the park.

Indian Beach
With its quiet sands, impressive rock formations, and a short 0.25-mile hike from the Indian Beach parking lot, Indian Beach is perfect for a serene and intimate ceremony. The surrounding cliffs and tide pools create amazing backdrops. Parking here is limited, so plan to arrive early—especially during summer or weekends.
P.S., The hike from Ecola Point (the main overlook area) to Indian Beach is about 1.5 miles one way along the Clatsop Loop Trail. This scenic trail winds through coastal forest with some moderate elevation changes and offers gorgeous views along the way. The hike typically takes about 30–45 minutes each way, depending on your pace and how often you stop to enjoy the views.
This trail can be muddy after rain, so sturdy footwear is a good idea if you plan to walk between these two spots for photos or exploring!
Crescent Beach Overlook
For sweeping ocean views, the Crescent Beach Overlook is accessible by a 1.5-mile trail that takes you through forested areas to a stunning coastal viewpoint. This is an amazing spot for sunrise or sunset ceremonies, capturing the golden light against the water.
Old-Growth Forest Trails
